Description:

BRIEF Our team is seeking a highly skilled and versatile product designer to be the sole designer on our team. This individual will be responsible for the full spectrum of UX activities, including conducting workshops, user research, and usability testing. They will also design and refine the user interface, ensuring it meets the highest standards before handing it over to the development team for implementation. As the only designer, they will play a critical role in shaping the user experience and will work closely with the rest of the team, while the Design Lead focuses on strategic priorities. Importantly, the ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of user-centred design principles, expertise in designing solutions for businesses/SMEs, and a track record of driving successful design solutions in multi-feature platforms tailored to diverse business needs. DESCRIPTION: The Senior Product Designer will own the end-to-end user experience across multiple squads, focusing on diverse SME solutions such as Marketplace, Financial Management, HR & Payroll, and other integrated business services. Guided by the overarching UX strategy, they will lead efforts to design user-centric, innovative solutions that empower businesses to streamline operations, drive growth, and unlock new opportunities. This role emphasizes collaboration, problem-solving, and delivering cohesive, impactful customer experiences.

Expertise:

Versatile Design Skill Set: A generalist designer comfortable switching between user research, prototyping, detailed design (UX and visual), and design validation. Skilled in creating scalable design systems and adapting to evolving needs in a fast-paced environment.
Customer-Centric Mindset: Strong ability to empathize with users and create solutions tailored to the unique needs of Business/SME customers, ensuring their goals and pain points are at the centre of the design process.
High Impact Delivery: Ability to solve complex design challenges within tight timeframes, producing tangible outcomes aligned with strategic objectives.

Duties:

Concept Development: Lead the creation of innovative concepts for the SME platform and present them to business and tech stakeholders to gain alignment and drive implementation of user-center solutions.
Detailed Design: Deliver high-quality UX and visual design solutions that align with user needs and business goals, ensuring a seamless and aesthetically pleasing user experience.
Design System Development: Collaborate with teams to expand and refine the design system, building on its existing components to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across the platform.
Research & Experimentation: Conduct and facilitate research activities to gather insights, validate hypotheses, and inform iterative design improvements. This includes running usability tests and gathering user feedback to refine proposed solutions.
Facilitation & Collaboration: Lead collaborative solutioning sessions with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring alignment on customer-centric design outcomes.
Prototype & Demonstration: Build and refine prototypes to showcase proposed concepts and solutions, driving alignment and securing buy-in from stakeholders.
